Peer editing is a proven technology to help students improve
their writing. Unfortunately, face to face peer editing
in a large classroom quickly becomes unwieldy.
We have developed a Web-based system for online peer editing
using Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat for document markup.
The instructor must provide editing guidelines specific
to the document. This system has been successfully deployed
at UCSC.
Note: You are welcome to try out the software on the UCSC
server. Contact tara@soe.ucsc.edu
to obtain a key to create an instructor account.
